Terms of service

What these terms cover

PR Lens is run by Coldtea AI UG (haftungsbeschränkt). These terms cover the hosted service: the GitHub App, the website at prlens.dev, and the canvases published there. The Coldtea terms of service apply too, and where the two say different things about PR Lens, this page is the one that applies. The open source packages are licensed under MIT, and that license, not this page, governs their use.

By installing the App or pushing a canvas you accept these terms. There are no accounts: the App runs under the GitHub installation you granted it, and the CLI needs no sign-in.

Your content

What you push, and what the App draws from your repositories, stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, draw it, and show it to whoever you share the link with, and nothing beyond that. A canvas link is the only way in: if you do not share it, nobody has it. If you do, be mindful of what you are sharing and who you are sharing it with.

You can delete a canvas at any time with pr-lens canvas delete, and have the documents drawn for a repository deleted by writing to hello@coldtea.ai. The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive. Do not try to guess canvas ids, get around rate limits, or load the service in a way meant to degrade it for others. Do not scrape canvases or share pages in bulk.

We may remove content that breaks these terms, and suspend an installation that does, with notice where we can give it. If you believe a canvas or a share page shows something it should not, write to hello@coldtea.ai with the link and we will look at it.

The service

The service is provided as is. The diagrams are drawn by a model reading a change, and a model can be wrong: a diagram is a reading aid, and the code is the source of truth.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that follow from using the service or from an interruption of it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Coldtea AI UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is registered, as the Coldtea terms set out.
