Priced by the review

Public repositories are free. On private ones, a credit is one drawing with its review. The first 10 a month cost nothing. There are no seats to count.

What is a credit?

One drawing of a private pull request, with its review. A pull request is drawn once when it opens. Pushing more commits costs nothing. The drawing stays, with a note that it is behind. Ticking Redraw or asking in a comment draws it again, and that is one more credit.

What happens when the free credits run out?

The next private pull request gets a short note instead of a drawing, with the day the credits return and an Upgrade link. Nothing already drawn goes away. Public repositories carry on as before.

How do I upgrade?

When the free credits run low, the note PR Lens leaves on your pull request has an Upgrade link. It opens a checkout for your GitHub organisation, with no account to create. Invoices come by email, and you can cancel any time.

What does upgrading cost?

Nothing up front and nothing a month. A card goes on file, the free credits go from 10 to 20 a month, and each credit past them is $1 on a monthly invoice. A month within the free credits costs nothing.

Can I cap what a month costs?

Yes, if you want to. There is no limit until you set one. Set a monthly amount from the page the Upgrade link opens, or from the Spending limit link under any of your drawings. When a month reaches it, drawing stops the way it stops at the free credits, with a note that says so and a link to raise it.

Which repositories share the credits?

Every private repository PR Lens is installed on in one GitHub organisation shares one set of credits and one plan. A second organisation has its own.

What about GitLab, Bitbucket, the Action and the CLI?

Pricing is for the GitHub app today. GitLab and Bitbucket stay free for now. The GitHub Action and the CLI are free and run on your own model key.
